Remove a Small On-Screen Object from Video

Markswipe can clean a small, localized on-screen mark or overlay that stays inside one fixed area. You manually draw a box around that region, and the same selected area is processed across the clip. This is regional erasing, not semantic object recognition: it is not designed to track or remove people, vehicles, or complex moving subjects. MP4 videos up to 60 seconds are supported.

Erase a Fixed On-Screen Region in the Editor

Upload your clip and box only a small mark that remains in one place. This mode does not identify or track moving subjects.

What fixed-region video erasing actually does

The eraser processes the coordinates you select on every frame. It can reconstruct a small static overlay inside that region, but it does not understand what the object is and does not follow it around the scene.

A consistent background gives the model more useful context. If a subject passes behind the box, the region contains fine moving detail or the unwanted object leaves the selected area, the result may show a patch or fail to remove the mark completely.

What the fixed-box validation actually proved

In a controlled fixed-corner test, a tight manual box removed a synthetic custom mark while preserving audio and output duration. Bright pixels belonging to the mark inside the measured target region fell from 2.80% to 0.00%. Automatic logo detection did not remove that custom mark, which is why Markswipe opens logo and watermark tasks in Boxes mode.

The complex crowd background retained a light reconstructed patch, so this is a capability boundary rather than a perfect-result claim. It is an internal validation result, not a customer case study. We do not publish the sample frame because its underlying stock-footage provenance is incomplete; judge your own clip from the full free preview.

Fixed-region video eraser questions

Can I remove a person, vehicle, or moving subject?
No. Markswipe does not identify or track semantic objects. The manual box processes one fixed region and is intended for small, localized marks or overlays that remain inside it.
What can the fixed-region eraser handle?
Small static logos, badges, text overlays, or similar on-screen marks confined to one area. Complex backgrounds and moving subjects are outside the verified capability.
How many objects can I remove at once?
Up to two boxed areas per video, all cleaned in a single pass.
Will the audio be affected?
No. Only the boxed visual areas are processed; the audio track passes through untouched.
