In validation, three subtitle samples with different footage passed the quality check: the subtitles were removed, the audio remained present and the output duration matched the input.
The result is reconstructed, not recovered from a hidden clean copy. Subtitles over simple lower-frame backgrounds usually provide better context than large lettering over faces, hands or rapid motion. A complex scene may leave a light fill artifact. - Is the audio track preserved?
- Yes. Validation confirmed that the audio remained present and output duration matched the input while the visual subtitle area was processed.
- Will removing subtitles leave a blur band?
- Typical subtitle text is reconstructed rather than covered with a simple blur. Subtitles on a near-full-width translucent background are a known rejection boundary and can leave a visible horizontal band; motion or detailed backgrounds can also leave fill artifacts. Check the preview before relying on the result.
